    This is a Senior Analyst position with Commonwealth Bank, one of Australia's leading financial institutions. The company is experiencing rapid growth and offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team.

    The role involves supporting the Relationship Executive Team by conducting research, analysis, and developing comprehensive databases of client-specific information. You will also perform financial modeling, assess risks and opportunities associated with new lending, and prepare credit submissions for existing clients.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Financial modeling and analysis related to Business and Commercial Banking clients
    • Preparation of credit submissions for new facilities and coordination of deal execution through documentation and funding
    • Performance monitoring and annual reviews for existing clients, reporting of client financial and operational performance to Risk Management
    • Collaboration with Product Specialists to meet client requirements
    • Training and development of team members

    We are seeking a self-driven Analyst with a proven track record in similar Business/Commercial banking roles. To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • Previous experience in writing and analyzing credit transactions, completing annual reviews, and reporting, ideally within Business and/or Commercial Banking
    • Strong understanding of balance sheets, P&L, structuring of loans, securities, and financial products
    • Ability to prepare deal packs, marketing collateral, and PowerPoint packs for prospecting and business development activities
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and key stakeholders
    • Client service experience ideally in a Commercial or Business banking environment
    • Well-developed financial analysis and modeling skills
    • Ability to quickly grasp complex transactions and previous 'new to bank' transactional and credit risk experience
    • Tertiary qualification in Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded

    The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
