Complex Federal government department which has a finance team with great potential for growth and autonomy.

The Role

This is a 12 months non-ongoing or s26 opportunity at the APS6 level where you will be working on the full spectrum of financial operations including:

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Pay runs
• Bank reconciliations
• Credit Card management
• Corporate travel management
  
  

You'll be supervising a team of staff, delegating work, providing quality assurance, acting as the escalation point for complex/challenging work, and also managing the performance and progression of staff.

The department is looking to engage you via an S26 transfer if you are already in the APS, or as a non-ongoing contractor. They are very flexible and can accommodate a hybrid structure with good working from home options.

Your Skills And Experience

The client is looking for someone with Tech One experience and ideally experience of working in the APS. Perhaps you are a high performing APS5 or an APS6 looking for a change and some diversity. S26 transfers are available but you can also be engaged as a labour hire contract.

You must be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline clearance - this is mandatory.
