- Monitor permittees and contractor performance against sales permits
- Coordinate daily operations, including lessee engagements, log measurer accreditations, tree selection, and other relevant activities
- Plan weekly activities, prepare documents and electronic information, and undertake safety preparations
- Manual 'C' class license is mandatory
- Ability to walk long distances on uneven terrain and carry heavy equipment
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team

We are seeking self-motivated and skilled individuals to assist with monitoring field operations and planning associated with state-authorised native timber operations. If you enjoy working outdoors, liaising with customers and stakeholders, and taking initiative, this role is suited for you.

Work Environment
Our Senior Forest Rangers work in various locations throughout Queensland, often in challenging weather conditions. They must be capable of walking long distances on uneven terrain, carrying up to 10kg of essential equipment, and occasionally camping in basic conditions. The main areas we are looking to fill vacancies include Toowoomba, Injune, Mitchell, Maryborough, Mundubbera, Monto, Rockhampton, and Cairns.
