We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Petrochemical and Energy team with demonstrated experience in design of fuel facilities and terminals (or similar), Risk management, process design and client presentation, to work as part of a national Petrochemical and Energy team.

This varied, senior role offers the ideal candidate an opportunity to utilise their skills across engineering design,project & client management and also offers personal growth and development, with real development opportunities towards leadership within the organisation.

What does the role involve?Support the delivery of energy, fuel & dangerous goods projectsrelated to design, compliance, and safety Facilitate project risk workshops and the development of engineering solutions to workshop outcomes Site based inspections, engineering, and commission services to internal and external projects Provide detailed advice in relation to engineering design and related standards Take a lead role on delivery of complex projects across various industries Lead a team of engineers to deliver a project including complete design for construction Who are we looking for?Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree or equivalent, recognised by Engineers Australia RPEQ certification (or eligibility)Demonstrated experience in Engineering and Project Management within an engineering consultancy Extensive experience in process design engineering, P&ID and controls within wastewater, petrochemical, pharmaceutical or related industry Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to manage a team of engineers and graduates and represent ACOR with the client Willingness to learn and adapt in a professional consulting environment A team player who aligns with our company's values If you enjoy working in a team and welcome new challenges, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.
