    Description

    Job Title: Materials/Distribution Planner

    Location: Tuggerah with WFH arrangement and monthly onsite meetings

    Work Type: Ongoing temporary role with a strong chance of permanent employment, 38 hour work week

    The Materials Planner will be the linchpin in a fast-moving supply-chain environment. The role involves owning the material schedule, leveraging the MRP to analyse fluctuating demand, track supplies, and place purchasing orders to ensure everything is exactly where it needs to be.

    The key responsibilities include:

    • Running and analysing reports to maintain an accurate schedule
    • Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams such as the demand planning team, customer service team, and internal operations to ensure a flawless supply chain
    • Problem-solving under pressure and building solid relationships

    The ideal candidate has solid experience working in a supply chain environment, ideally in purchasing or planner roles. Experience with systems is essential, and prior experience with SAP, and/or a background as a Planner/Material Controller in a systems-driven environment, is highly desirable.

    Requirements:

    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Able to build solid relationships with suppliers and internal teams
    • Experience with systems, preferably SAP
    • Background as a Planner/Material Controller in a systems-driven environment
