    Job Description

    In this role you will;

    • Build professional advisory relationships with University executives and managers, offering expert financial advice and insights.
    • Provide ongoing expert guidance on financial and resource management matters.
    • Engage in discussions on new business initiatives, conduct value-adding analysis, and contribute to operational and strategic plans.
    • Collaborate with Element managers to create annual budgets, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and University policies.
    • Develop business cases and financial modelling, assessing their viability.

    Qualifications
    To be successful, you will possess:

    • Degree qualified with substantial work-related experience. You will preferably hold a professional accounting qualification through an accredited body (CPA/CA).
    • Strong experience in financial analysis and the development of financial models is required for this position alongside the ability to synthesize both financial and non-financial information.
    • Extensive business partnering or similar experience is highly desirable, as is experience within the higher education sector.
    • High level communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, together with the ability to effectively liaise across all levels of a diverse organisation.

    What we can offer
    This is a full time, fixed term (until 30 April ) position with a hybrid working environment. Any onsite work days will be primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan or Gold Coast campuses. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

    Salary range
    The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 8 range $, - $, per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $, - $, per annum.
