    Description
    • Direct responsibility for the Onroad Assessing Team, Desktop Assessing Team & Repair Relationship Consultant Team (RRC)
    • Act as key department liaison for internal & External stakeholders.
    • Work closely alongside the Commercial Manager to vet and procure selected supplier services with appropriate governance, compliance and contractual frameworks, attending interstate when required.
    • Lead, drive and develop capability team meetings with your Direct Report(s) and develop frameworks that will produce highly engaged and technically strong, customer focused home and office based Home Building team.
    • Coach, develop, mentor and support your Direct Report(s) to ensure entire team's performance is in line and exceeds key performance indicators and service standards, including internal processes, OH&S regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements
    • Act as the escalation point in complex negotiations and high profile disputes working closely with the Claims Operations Team.
    • Implement and oversee OH&S regulatory frameworks to ensure risks are stringently managed
    • Monitor, manage and audit tactical supplier performance to ensure that agreed Procurement protocols are executed in accordance with agreed contractual and best practice standards and generate the required cost and service delivery outcomes
    • Ensure Building Repair Network usage meets targeted levels
    • Closely monitor supplier capacity and capability nationally to ensure adequate geographical and volume coverage to meet customer demand
    • Identify and report on key trends within the Home Assessing & Supply team as well as external practices that could present risks or opportunities to Auto & General
    • Work collaboratively and effectively across the end to end Home value chain to ensure controls consistently deliver against overall business objectives
    • Lead the Home Building & Assessing Team through Change Programs

    Maintain strong knowledge of market developments in Building Repair industry, regulatory requirements, company processes, systems, products and brands.

    • Extensive Senior Leadership experience through leading teams for a minimum of 5 years
    • Minimum 5 years' experience and strong knowledge of the Home Assessing, Building Repair and Restoration environment and associated market practices and standards
    • Experience leading a team of professionals and operating effectively as part of a team with accountability for business results
    • Strong commercial acumen and proven capability in the development and execution of strategic programs of work
    • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
    • Strong verbal communication skills, effective with both customers & industry professionals when negotiating best business outcomes
    • Strong, accurate written communication skills, including report writing
