    The role:The Centre Host and Administration Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our Parkdale Family and Children's Centre. They serve as the initial point of contact for families, stakeholders, and the Early Years team.The role involves:
    • Greeting visitors, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and providing information and assistance to families regarding enrolment, programs, and general inquiries.
    • Provide support to educators and leadership.
    • Monitoring and reporting on utilisation.
    • Allocating places for our Education and Care and Kindergarten programs.
    • Managing the enrolment process for new families.
    • Maintaining staff and professional development records.
    • Monitoring family accounts, keeping track of payments, fees, and balances.
    • Various financial tasks, such as processing payments, issuing invoices, reconciling accounts, raising purchase orders and processing invoices.
    • Job sharing with another Centre Host and Administration officer who works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
    The ideal candidate will:
    • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
    • Be adaptable, proactive and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Understand Childcare Subsidy and Kindergarten funding.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office and CCMS software (Xap).
    • Have knowledge of the Early Years sector.
    • Have knowledge of or the ability to learn council software which is used on a daily basis e.g. MyFinance, Content Manager, IMS, Educa.
