    About the Role:

    As a Gardener, you will be responsible for providing gardening support to our clients at their homes. You are someone who has your own vehicle which is able to transport some gardening equipment and tools, can travel in and around, between client homes throughout the day and is passionate and understanding for providing support to the elderly that require assistance.

    We are looking for someone who is available between 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday and weekends where required.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

    • General garden maintenance - hedging, pruning of trees and shrubs, lawn mowing and edging
    • Weed control
    • Fertilising and mulching
    • Planting and laying turf

    About You:

    • You must be highly motivated and able to work independently
    • Previous experience in a Retirement Community, Aged Care, Home care or hotel environment is desirable
    • You will have strong customer service skills and a service, solution, and preventative approach
    • You should have computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft suite and asset management/ordering systems and have access to a smartphone
    • A current driver's license and access to a registered, insured and well-presented car are essential
    • The right to work in Australia and ability to obtain a satisfactory Police Check are also required
    • Candidates from all backgrounds and genders are encouraged to apply
    • You must have excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills are necessary
