- Assist in the preparation of value add insights and strategic analysis for CBA's market leading mortgage business, participating in activity across FP&A, decision support, performance reporting and financial control for the Home Buying business
- Preparation and input into the monthly performance reporting for designated product portfolio, including financial control deliverables and continual improvement of processes
- Support budgeting and forecasting for Home Loans portfolio, providing insightful driver-based analysis to management and variance analysis
- Prepare ad hoc analysis and input required by key stakeholders (e.g. CFO, GM Finance, EGM/GMs of Home Buying team) including information for the profit announcement/analyst briefings
- Assist with regular financial and business analysis of the product portfolio, including insights on business drivers, market dynamics and the competitive landscape where relevant
- Assist in providing financial input on business assumptions for investment initiatives, product launches and major business decisions ensuring financial rigor is consistently applied
We're interested in hearing from people who have- Graduate qualification in Finance/Accounting or related discipline
- Post graduate qualification preferred (CA/CPA, MBA, SIA)
- Strong experience in a financial performance management (monthly management reporting/forecasting)
- High level proficiency in financial modelling and trend analysis
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills
- Capability to synthesise large volumes of data in order to draw out simple and succinct insights that can support better business conversations and outcomes
- Proven ability to manage and present to stakeholders
