- Tertiary safety qualifications with relevant work experience in related discipline.
- Demonstrated successful experience in managing and leading the safety function operationally with minimum 5 years' experience.
- Extensive knowledge and experience managing a broad range of Health and Safety legislative requirement and responsibilities across a complex business.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing process improvement and system optimisation strategies to deliver organisational compliance and efficiency.
- An operational safety leader, customer focus, accountability and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.

Safety Health & Environment Lead
The Work Health & Safety Manager will operationally lead and direct in the implementation of safety strategy across a large manufacturing site of over 300 employees. You will provide due diligence and guidance to the operational leadership team and across a large multi-disciplinary organisation. Balancing this by being a visible safety leader and being at the forefront of the organisation. The purpose of this role is to embed change, safety culture and progressive safety initiatives with a risk-based approach. This is a role with clear leadership enabling the business to progress in all aspects.
