An exciting opportunity exists to be part of our valued Aboriginal Health team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated administration professional with excellent customer service skills to gain permanent employment with the largest employer and health care provider in East Gippsland. Enjoy flexibility with this position worked only 2 days per week

The contract: Ongoing, Part-Time, 32.0 hours per fortnight.

The position:

The Administration Support Officer is responsible for providing timely, accurate and efficient administrative support to assist the day-to-day operations of the Aboriginal Health Unit. Key to the role is the provision of customer service to patients, families, consumers and colleagues with a person-centred approach that is professional, approachable, responsive and compassionate at all times.

Key selection criteria:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in administration/reception/customer service role
• A good understanding of the local Aboriginal culture and community
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional, person centred manner and proven capacity to consider activities, decisions and outcomes from the perspective of the consumer or end-user
• Excellent organizational skills with the demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise in response to varying work requirements.
• A competent user of MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
