    About the Role

    Job Connect Recruitment is seeking experienced Mechanical Assemblers to join a renowned global leader in mobile plant and heavy machinery manufacturing at their state-of-the-art workshop in the Hendra area. This esteemed company specializes in Heavy Vehicles and offers the chance to acquire world-class manufacturing methods.

    Salary Information

    The successful candidate can expect to earn $38 per hour, with additional penalties for non-trade staff. A full-time position guarantees 38 hours of work per week, including an early Friday finish. Opportunities for overtime are available during the week and Saturdays, with an extra 30-minute paid travel time for those working beyond regular hours.

    Job Description

    This role involves using hand and power tools to assemble parts in sub-assembly teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, part replacement, or servicing vehicles, plant, or factory machinery. Potential areas of specialization include Pre-Delivery Inspection or Pre-Paint.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

    • Experience in mechanical assembly, part replacement, or servicing vehicles, plant, or factory machinery
    • Full working rights in Australia and a commitment to a long-term role (not suitable for time-limited visas or overseas applicants)
    • Reliable transport to and from the site
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
