    About the role

    The Elders stud stock business has a long and strong history within Elders and the livestock industry. We are now looking for a Sales Support Officer on a full-time basis to work closely with the team to continue to drive growth and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

    Our Sales Support Officers are the first person our clients see when they interact with Elders. Your expert customer service skills will operate as the backbone of the branch and support the sales teams in building relationships with clients. With the backing of the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary to take clients through the end-to-end sales process and supported to learn and grow your career.

    This role would suit someone looking to start a career in Ag or someone looking for a role that will offer growth and endless opportunities in a team with a great culture.

    Responsibilities

    As a key member of your branch, along with the state Stud Stock team, you will enjoy a varied day including:

    • Providing expert administrative support to the team, allowing the business to develop and foster professional relationships within the stud stock space
    • Providing support in all areas of the sales process, including providing sale day support & sale processing, as well as maintaining the stud sales calendar
    • Processing of international sales/purchases including communication with treasury for current rates and providing documentation for international funds transfer.
    • Creating promotional and marketing materials to actively promote the Elders stud stock brand, including listing stud sales livestock online, maintaining the social media updates, creating Elders adverts for catalogues, flyers & supp sheets
    • Providing multi-vendor sales duty agent support, including catalogue proofing & distribution, ear tags, vendor paperwork collection and correlation, pen cards, stall allocations, neck cards, supp sheets, semen retained cards
    • Working with the wider Elders team to allow clients to explore new innovative opportunities
    • Maximising promotional opportunities, including helping at field days and community events
    • Assisting with expense management to ensure the product is operating effectively
