    About the role

    We seek a multiskilled information technologist with broad generalist experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector to provide server and systems administrative support, whilst providing a high level of user support through the provision of prompt incident and problem oversight. Whether it's our reservations booking systems, maintenance scheduling systems, internal phone lines or guest Wi-Fi connections, all digital solutions are the responsibility of the IT department. This is a fast paced, challenging environment where you have the opportunity to work with a variety of systems and people, therefore we seek a solution focused, outcome driven person to join our team.

    The core function of your role is to maintain system integrity, resolve technical issues, and ensure the seamless operation of Stamford Hotels and Resorts Adelaide's technological infrastructure.

    Core requirements of your role

    • Ensure that day-to-day administrative activities are undertaken to maintain local servers in a fully operational and stable state
    • Review and maintain efficient and effective backup procedures to enable the provision of successful and accurate backups so that any data can be restored quickly and efficiently
    • Daily administration of the Adelaide Servers and Computer networks within Stamford Hotels and Resorts in Adelaide inline with your interstate IT Manager
    • Provide punctual and reliable service to the users of information technology and to ensure the integrity and security of all data on the Stamford Hotels and Resorts in Adelaide networks
    • Under management, install and configure new hardware and software
    • Maintain the Asset register for hardware
    • Maintain the mobile phone register and liaise with head office to ensure phone contracts are managed and cancelled for obsolete hardware
    • Ensure compliance with the requirements of the WHS Management System
    • Actively participate in hazard identification activities, including Risk Assessments
    • Mobilise/demobilise and support the IT systems requirements and training associated with staff onboarding/offboarding standard operating practices

    About you

    To be considered for the role we require an Australian citizen with full working rights, who has a demonstrable record of performing in a similar technology function. An emotionally intelligent and empathetic administrator.

    • Sound knowledge of Opera Cloud and Symphony, MICROS system administration and support
    • Technology savvy in and familiar in these application systems (e.g. Microsoft Operation Systems, Oracle Opera and Micros POS, Citrix, Delphi, Wincheck, DOCMX, Zambian HR, Sun Accounting System etc)
    • Implemented integration of the hospitality related systems like call accounting, CRM, IP-PBX, etc
    • Familiar with general hardware, software and network troubleshooting
    • Experience using SQL language

    This is a full-time placement, Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend work based on operational requirements.
