    Operating across three states, our services include supported accommodation, private rehabilitation hospitals, a purpose-built resort for people with spinal cord injury, as well as providing quality allied health services to the community through our specialty unit, Royal Rehab LifeWorks.

    About the role

    As our Senior Occupational Therapist, your role is key to delivering the very best, person-centered therapy services, empowering individuals to attain social and economic participation in the community. This newly created position offers a unique opportunity for a passionate individual to lead growth, deliver high-quality services, and provide supervision and peer support as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Lead and collaborate with a range of stakeholders that support people to achieve their goals and improve their community participation.
    • Implement and review therapy needs, develop intervention plans and strategies with clients, family, carers, and their service providers.
    • Manage sensitive enquiries, specialist services and complex supports
    • Provide peer support and development opportunities including clinical supervision and learning and development needs.
    • Proactively work with the Allied Health Manager and other senior clinicians to support the Royal Rehab LifeWorks strategy.
    • Actively promote and lead the Royal Rehab LifeWorks service offerings and in particular the occupational therapy service.

    Essential Criteria:

    • AHPRA registration
    • Tertiary level qualifications in Occupational Therapy
