    About the Role

    We are seeking a Support Worker to provide flexible and individualized support to customers, facilitating their involvement in capacity building activities and promoting community participation and inclusion.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide Personalized Support: Offer individually tailored support to maximize dignity, personal growth, and independence.
    • Develop Programs: Contribute to creating, following, and implementing programs that enable customers to develop daily living skills and increase their community involvement.
    • Promote Dignity: Perform duties that promote the dignity, independence, and acquisition of skills for customers.
    • Tech Support: Utilize technology such as smartphones and computers to assist customers.
    • Documentation: Complete required paperwork, documentation, and recording as per Tailored 4 Choice policy and procedure.

    Working with Us

    • Collaboration: Actively contribute to a team environment through open communication and participation in regular staff meetings.
    • Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Client Focus: Display a client-focused and person-centered manner, prioritizing customer needs and preferences.

    Requirements

    • Certificate III: Hold a Certificate III in disability or equivalent (Minimum Requirement).
    • Experience: Previous experience in disability, aged care, or mental health field is an advantage.

    Compulsory Accreditations:

    • NDIS Screening: Hold an NDIS Worker Screening/Cleared police check within the last 12 months.
    • Working With Children: Possess a Current Working With Children check (WWC).

    Estimated Salary Range:

    $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
