- Offer expert guidance to Sciences researchers to maximise competitiveness and success in large grant applications nationally and internationally.
- Provide cohesive strategic planning advice on large grant submissions to the Dean (Research) and Directors of Research Centres and Institutes.
- Identify and pursue international and national research funding opportunities while facilitating collaborations with funding bodies and industry partners.
- Develop and review collaborative multidisciplinary grant submissions for enhanced competitiveness.
- Support high-priority research initiatives and build researchers' capacity through specialised training and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Value teamwork, continuous improvement, and possess a willingness to learn and develop skills.
- Demonstrate high organisation and enthusiasm, with the ability to handle direction and multiple tasks concurrently.
- Be flexible and readily adapt to changing work requirements and demands.

- Possess postgraduate qualifications and demonstrate extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent alternative combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or extensive experience in academia, industry or government. The completion of a PhD will be highly regarded.

This is a full time, fixed term (until 16 November 2025) position and will be primarily based at the Griffith University Gold Coast Campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

Salary range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 8 range $108,764 - $122,356 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $127,254 - $143,157 per annum.
