- Act as a subject matter expert on security-related matters, ensuring security considerations are integrated into the delivery lifecycle, providing guidance and support to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Develop roadmaps (true north) in line with delivery streams for strategic security architecture improvements that achieve business benefit
- Lead the strategic planning of improvements to architecture and processes that strengthen the security posture of systems and applications, and enable the business to realise their capability and maturity targets
- Provide technical leadership to specialists and subject matter experts, within the Cyber Security Program, fostering a positive culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Collaborate with other Cyber Security professionals within the business to identify security risks and vulnerabilities, and work in concert to design and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Provide support and advise to the Cyber Security Program team on topics relating to enterprise security architecture and how to manage, track, and control cyber security risk
- Support decision-making by pro-actively contributing to the Program Manager's context with facts and insights gathered from performing the Lead Cyber Security Architect role
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in ICT leadership and architecture roles, with a focus on Cyber Security
- Deep knowledge of security architecture and process, cyber security risk management and control frameworks
- Deep knowledge, and extensive experience in the application of information security principles, best practises, and frameworks, such as ISM, NIST, ISO27001/2
- Proven experience bringing cyber, technical, and business professionals together to support broader adoption and integration of security controls
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to a diverse audience
- Superior relationship management skills and an ability to develop trust and credibility at different levels of the organisation
- Strong multi-tasking capabilities, exceptional skills to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
