    Your new role:

    Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sourcing Enablement, the Commercial Analyst, Sourcing Enablement is a key member of AustralianSuper's Procurement team, and is responsible for supporting the team in the analysis and reporting of Procurement data, triaging requests to ensure they are directed to the appropriate Sourcing partner, as well as developing and implementing sourcing, contracting and supplier strategies to ensure the Fund procures goods, services and solutions to meet current and future demands; that we purchase from the right third parties, at the right price, quality and in a timely manner and appropriately manage our supply chain risks.

    Key duties include but are not limited to:

    • Extracting, analysing and reporting using data from a number of Procurement systems, including Oracle SaaS and RSA Archer, through Excel and PowerBI.
    • Maintaining existing PowerBI and Excel reports.
    • Provide Procurement data and information to help inform decision making across the Fund.
    • Processing basic contracts requests and assist the business with contract extensions for simple contracts.
    • Work with the Procurement team to ensure Contracts records are accurately captured in Archer.
    • Collaboratively work with other support and delivery functions including Legal, Finance & Operations, People & Culture, Technology, Projects, Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit, Property & Facilities, Security.
    • Operate and make decisions according to the Fund's Frameworks, Policies, Standards and Procedures.
    • Ensure relevant legislative and organisational requirements are met.
    • Look for continuous improvement opportunities internally and within the Fund's supply chain to help improve Member value.

    What you'll need:

    • 2+ years' experience in a either a commercial, operational delivery and support or data, analytics, insights and reporting roles
    • Excellent understanding of and experience in PowerBI
    • Basic understanding of contract law
    • Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis
    • Innovative, creative and curious with a strong growth mindset
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Willingness to believe in and work towards the enterprise purpose and vision
    • High level of personal integrity as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters
