    We are seeking a Principal Engineer for Electrical and Lighting Assets to join the City Infrastructure & Traffic Operations team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for managing the City of Sydney's network of electrical and lighting assets, ensuring that the asset inventory is maintained, renewed, upgraded, or expanded to meet the City's strategic objectives.

    This position involves leading a team of professionals to develop and implement plans, programs, and strategies related to the City's electrical and lighting assets.

    The goal is to ensure these assets are environmentally and financially sustainable while meeting the community's needs.

    To be successful in this role, you should have tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field, a current Class C NSW driver's license, proven experience in asset management of electrical and lighting assets in the public domain, strong leadership skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and service providers.
