    Our client

    Our client is a successful private property developer who has diverse property interests with the core asset class being residential apartments and townhouses.     About the role
    We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Development Manager to join their team. The Assistant Development Manager will work closely to support the successful planning and delivery of their projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in managing the development process from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
    • Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project activities and resolve any issues that may arise
    • Conduct due diligence and feasibility studies to assess project viability and help to identify opportunities
    • Assist managing project budgets, schedules, and timelines, monitoring progress and implementing adjustments as necessary.
    • Support the procurement process, including tendering, contract negotiation,
    • Assist in obtaining necessary permits, approvals from relevant authorities
    • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and other project documentation as required.

    Core skills and experience

    • Tertiary qualifications
    • Previous experience/exposure in property development, preferably within the residential sector.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands effectively.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
    • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a keen attention to detail.

    The ideal candidate will be a highly driven individual with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of, and/or experience in the residential land space. You will be required to assist across the development lifecycle including design and construction delivery phases.
