    About This Role

    CAE is seeking an experienced Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to join its team. The role of an ISD is multifaceted and central to the training development approach.

    The ISD will oversee the development of instructional content, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), multimedia developers, content development specialists, and programmers. Opportunities may also be available for conducting analyses and training system design activities.

    The role will be based in Homebush, NSW, Australia.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Follow cyclical analyses, design, development, implementation, and evaluation processes.
    • Oversight of the training development process, including tracking team progress and organizing and assigning work tasks.
    • Development and adherence to delivery schedules.
    • Main conduit between the development team and management.

    Requirements:

    • Strong experience in computer-based training development or Instructional Design.
    • Experience working with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).
    • Strong SADL Defence experience.
    • Preferrably, experience or tertiary degree in education, adult education, or instructional design.

    Security Requirements:

    • Eligibility for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance.
    • Preferably, holding a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
