    About the Company
    This client is a global leader in water technology, seeking a Service Technician to join their dedicated Service Delivery team in Luscombe, Brisbane, serving their valued customers in Queensland.

    About the role:
    Your main role will entail diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing various irrigation, pump, and filtration equipment for their clients. This encompasses diagnosing issues, devising solutions, and executing necessary tasks to meet customer needs, whether on-site or in-store. Additionally, it involves completing all pertinent paperwork related to jobs conducted both in the workshop and on-site, managing materials and ordering parts and equipment as needed, coordinating external projects with other team members and managers, as well as providing technical advice and sales support to customers both in-person and remotely.

    Responsibilities:

    • Proficiency in identifying different pump types and effectively diagnosing issues, followed by implementing efficient solutions and conducting repairs.
    • Completion of multiple technical pump courses offered by manufacturers, accompanied by certificates of completion.
    • Demonstrated comprehension of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) principles and capability in completing WHS documentation like Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Job Safety Analyses (JSA).
    • Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems and other computer-related skills.

    Competencies:

    • Experience with electrical/mechanical hydraulic systems and pumps and rotational equipment.
    • Experience with pump technology, hydraulics, controls, and variable speed drives.
    • Capable of working autonomously.
    • Proficient in managing and organizing documents effectively.
    • Oriented towards providing excellent customer service.
    • Willingness to adhere to company policies.
    • Ability to collaborate within a small team environment and actively contribute to team dynamics.
    • Open to traveling for training and work assignments, which may occasionally include overnight stays.
    • Adherence to uniform requirements and maintaining a tidy appearance, including clean field equipment and vehicles.
    • Flexibility with working hours, including availability on weekends if necessary.
    • Willingness to offer insights and suggestions for enhancing both the role and the business overall.

    Qualifications:

    • Mechanical qualifications and/or relevant experience.
    • Fully qualified Electrical Supervisor/Electrician in Queensland (or be able to obtain the equivalent mutual recognition).
    • Class 1 driver license.
