Pharmacist - Full-Time Position - Hobart

$52 - $55/hr Plus Relocation Assistance.
Management role.
Focus on Patient Care and Team Management.

Client & Location Information:

Take the helm of a well-established community pharmacy located in Hobart, Tasmania. This idyllic setting offers fantastic access to both the bustling city life and the serene escape of beautiful beaches and incredible Tasmanian wilderness. As a Pharmacist, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the high standard of healthcare provided to the community, while also enjoying the lifestyle benefits that come with living in one of Tasmania's most sought-after locations.

Job Specification:

Your role will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including managing a team of assistants, dispensary technicians, and two other pharmacists. Key responsibilities include managing the dispensary, stock control, PBS claims, CPA programs, administering immunisations, and promoting forward dispensing practices. The ideal candidate will bring previous management experience, excellent time management skills, and a friendly, approachable manner to the team.

Skills Required:

Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
Proven management experience in a community pharmacy setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
Proficient in using the Fred computer system.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and customer service.

Salary & Benefits:

A competitive salary range of $52 - $55 per hour, with a negotiable package that includes relocation assistance.

Other Information:

Script Trade: Approximately 180 scripts per day.
Shop Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.30pm; Saturday 9.30am-5pm; Sunday 10am - 4pm.
Workforce: Supported by 2 full-time pharmacists, 2 dispensary technicians, and a team of 18 shop staff.
DAA/Packs: 12 Webster packs, packed by the technician.
