About the Company

This organisation is a large contributor to the world's energy needs. They are responsible for mining up to 42 million tonnes of coal a year, operating in a sustainable manner. Their local operations focus on extracting both thermal and metallurgical coal with a base in the Hunter Valley.

About the Role

As a Procurement Administrator you will be responsible for providing procurement and contract support to the Procurement team.

Key accountabilities of the role include:

Preparing drafted contracts for execution and implementation.
Assisting in securing and implementing optimal contractual terms and conditions.
Commercially administering contracts.
Assisting in tender preparation by providing cost, availability and quality information.
Identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
Performing purchasing functions as required.
Maintaining all procurement documentation.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need:

Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or contract administration roles.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder relationship skills.
High attention to detail.
Effective time management skills.
Highly experienced in the use of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
