At Healthscope we realise how hard you've studied to get to this point. Taking the next step in your career is an important milestone. With us you can kick start your employment as an early career nurse or midwife through our comprehensive and individually tailored program. With full time or part time options available (minimum 0.8 FTE), our 12-month program is coupled with an additional Consolidation Year to further support your transition to practice and develop your clinical skills and knowledge.

Sunnybank Private Hospital is situated in south-west Brisbane. Our focus is to care for people. Our expert, attentive team of surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and other professionals will ensure your healthcare experience is the best it can be.

Set within tranquil landscaped gardens, we offer a range of medical and surgical services including oncology, day surgery, endoscopy and intensive care. We provide specialist inpatient and day rehabilitation for people recovering from an operation, injury or illness.

Enrolled Nurses at Healthscope perform a variety of tasks under the supervision of registered nurses. Some of the tasks that you may be responsible for, in collaboration with the Registered Nurse, include caring for a group of patients, patient admission and discharge, medication administration, wound care, pre and post-operative care and liaising with medical staff and other health professionals. You will have the opportunity to continually develop, improve and promote best evidence-based practice.
