About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Adelaide, providing financial insights and expertise to support business growth and success. As a key member of our Finance Shared Services team, you will be responsible for reviewing, investigating, and providing timely insights on Business Unit P&L and associated warehouse-to-store balance sheet accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform month-end reconciliations with clear descriptions of outstanding items, supporting documentation, and action plans for clearance
• Ensure financial controls are in place and reviewed regularly to comply with accounting policies and standards
• Drive initiatives and strategies for continual improvement of processes and perform User Acceptance Testing for any changes to the System Environment

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A CA or CPA qualification, or working towards coupled with 1+ years relevant experience (retail/large corporate an advantage)
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros) as well as an enthusiasm to learn new systems including SAP, GCP, BPC
• Ability to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience; strong presentation and storyboarding skills
• Ability to synthesise large amounts of data from a variety of sources
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a lot of ambiguity and attend to shifting priorities
