- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth of Peritoneal dialysis
- Map key accounts, plan and implement engagement activities, and cultivate positive relationships with key opinion leaders, prescribing nephrologists, and hospital executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with Health Economics and CommEx to analyse data and construct compelling economic arguments supporting patient treatment pathways, hospital protocols and macro objectives
- Achieve set sales targets and critical metrics
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to make informed decisions
- Collaborate cross functionally for client benefit and growth opportunities
- Extract customer insights, and share for targeted action
- Actively manage identified gaps and/or customer concerns/ complaints to ensure understanding and timely resolution.
- Tertiary degree in Medical Science, Healthcare, Business, Management or related fields
- 5 years' or more experience working in a commercial/sales/account management role within the Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical industry is desirable
- Knowledge and application of effective selling skills, including value added selling techniques and Account Management is preferred
- Solid understanding or the Hospital and Healthcare system
- Highly developed interpersonal efficiency and relationship-building abilities
- Accountable for achieving targets and delivering outstanding customer service
- Collaborative approach and ability to work well with others
- Willingness to travel interstate as required.

The Role
An exciting newly created role that has arisen for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Renal business
In this role you will develop, expand, and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with strategic accounts that promote and deliver the clinical and economic benefits of Home Dialysis for patients, HCPs, hospitals, tertiary institutions, and government bodies.
Reporting to the ANZ Sales Manager, you will build new opportunities by engaging healthcare executives and leveraging HCP peer to peer networks and reference sites. Working with a highly collaborative team, you will mobilise people and resources to achieve sales and profitability targets, while also delivering value and excellent client relationships that improve trust and confidence in our products.
If you are an expert Pharmaceutical or Devices Sales professional looking to move to a Business Development role, we'd like to hear from you While we prefer the candidate to be based in NSW, we will consider applicants based in VIC or QLD.
