- Engineering support to Installation and Set To work of the Combat System.
- Lead shore and platform Verification activities.
- Producing Design Certification against top level system specifications.
- Technical risk analysis, and leading junior engineers to facilitate documenting and executing verification and validation activities.
- Running major reviews throughout the lifecycle, including peer reviews, preliminary and detailed design reviews and test readiness reviews.
- Mentoring junior team members to build team skills in systems engineering methodology, as well as the required tools and procedures.
- Degree Qualified in relevant Engineering disciplines with eligibility to hold Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) standing and a level of Design Authority delegation to support system Design Certification activities.
- Ideally minimum 4 years' experience in Systems Engineering involving one or more of the following: requirements definition, requirements management, analysis, design, integration, and verification.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders at client, peer, supplier, and senior leadership levels.
- Knowledge of project management milestones coupled with the ability to work autonomously or with minimal supervision to deliver completed work according to scheduled commitments.
- Available to undertake travel where necessary to meet requirements of the role.
- Applicants must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to Negative Vetting 1 level.

Reporting directly to the SCCS Technical Manager, as a Senior Systems Engineer you will join an exciting project working on new and innovative engineering activities focused on Submarine Combat System development.
