    ABOUT THE CLIENT

    Our Client is an open cut coal mine located 30 kilometres north of Moranbah in Queensland's Bowen Basin. They are one of nine metallurgical coal mines in Queensland's Bowen Basin with a purpose to bring people and recourses together to build a better world.

    Our Client supplies resources essential for everyday life and economic development, and many are key to a lower carbon world. They are committed to growing value for everyone who depend on and support us with the use of Habitat Restoration, Transitioning to a low carbon future and making workplaces safer.

    With our current client base needs, we are seeking a Tyre Fitter in the Bowen Basin

    WHATS ON OFFER

    • Flat rates from $77.57 per hour
    • Super and Coal LSL on all hours worked
    • Fulltime contracts provided after 3 months
    • Even time roster
    • DIDO or BIBO for local candidates
    • FIFO provided for candidates in Brisbane or Cairns

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    This role may include but is not limited to the following:

    • Carry out tyre servicing and maintenance on a fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment, including dump trucks and loaders.
    • Following all mine site procedures including equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance.
    • A commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace

    KEY REQUIREMENTS

    To be successful for this role you must have the following,

    • Cert II in Tyre Fitting (within five years)
    • AURHTJ103 Inspect Refit Heavy Vehicle Wheel and Tyre Assemblies
    • AURHTJ104 Remove Inspect Repair and Refit Agricultural Equipment Tyres and Tubes
    • AURHTJ106 Remove Inspect Repair and Refit Heavy Vehicle Tyres and Tubes
    • AURKTJ011 Remove Inspect and Fit Earth Moving Tyres
    • AURKTJ012 Remove Inspect and Fit Earth Moving and Off The Road Wheel and Rim Assemblies
    • AURLTJ102 Remove Inspect Repair and Refit Light Vehicles Tyres and Tubes
    • AURLT113 Remove Inspect and Refit Light Vehicles Wheel and Tyre Assemblies
    • Forklift High Risk Work License / Tyre Handler Experience
    • 2 Year Min Earth Moving Tyre Experience
    • STANDARD 11
