Summerhall are looking for Technicians to join our team for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2024.

Summerhall provides a challenging and exciting environment for a technician, requiring a range of skills and personal qualities and encouraging professional and personal growth.

Summerhall is one of the most exciting venues on the fringe, delivering a cutting-edge program of performing arts, visual arts and music with a strong focus on artistic merit and social consciousness.

There are several different (but broadly similar roles) to be filled, including venue technicians with the main responsibility for looking after an individual theatre space, swing technicians who will cover venue technician's days off and assist with other technical provision onsite, and junior technicians who will assist venue technicians.

Rates for technicians range from £ £14.50 per hour and you will be expected to work an average of 44-48 hours work per week across the length of the contract.

Start dates are either Monday 15th of July or Monday 22nd July, with a finish date of Friday 30th August.

We also have a small number of short term contracts with finish dates of around 5th august or 12th August

We can offer some flexibility on start and finish dates as long as the key dates of 29th July-26th August are covered.
