This opportunity is within the ANZ Private Office segment and the portfolio has a variety ofclients including professionals, executives, business owners, investors and retirees.

    The Associate Private Banker role is diverse and fast paced. Working with the Senior Private Banker, thecandidate will have the opportunity to directly manage clients and be part of a high achieving professional team.They will be responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience, portfolio management, compliance andcollaboration with the broader ANZ Private team and stakeholders.

    What will your day look like

    Your accountabilities would include but would not be limited to:

  • Explore existing client banking needs and structure solutions to achieve their objectives.
  • Collaborate with other internal ANZ Divisions and external stakeholders to build and convert a pipeline offuture Private clients and grow existing mutual client relationships.
  • Work with the Senior Private Banker to achieve assigned client acquisition targets through proactivesolicitation of new clients and seeking referrals from existing clients.
  • Meet assigned deposit, lending and investment targets through the needs based introduction andappropriate positioning of banking and investment solutions.
  • Keep across key economic and market trends impacting the industry.
  • Ensure all transactional banking and lending solutions are suitable and compliantly executed and that clientexpectations are effectively managed.
  • Commitment to give and receive feedback to develop self and others.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders through effective communication to achieve best outcomefor client.

  • Implement checks and measures to ensure the Private Office set is at all times fully compliant withregulatory standards and internal policies and procedures.
  • What will you bring?

    To be successful in the role, you will ideally have the following experiences, knowledge, and skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in a client facing role
  • Knowledge of transactional banking and ability to navigate ANZ products, systems & processes
  • Exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Lending/credit capability (Consumer and/or Commercial) is preferred
  • Ability to proactively problem solve on behalf of clients & ANZ.
  • Strong focus on compliance, attention to detail & flawless execution
