    Job Description & Summary

Between December 20 and January 9, we encourage our people to take time to recharge and log off for their own wellbeing.

As such, the firm is in shutdown mode between these dates, and our teams will pause reviewing applications or holding interviews.

We will resume normal operations on January 9

Would you like to play a part in some of Australia's biggest and most exciting projects? Our clients trust us to help them navigate significant, once-in-a-generation transformational change programs almost always with a heavy emphasis on complex digital solutions.

If you have had broad exposure to delivering programs and projects in complex stakeholder environments, we would love to hear from you

    What will you create?

You'll help Australian businesses, not-for-profits and governments create value and improve the way they work.

From digitising healthcare, to creating smarter cities and igniting our start-up industry, together we build trust in society and solve important problems.

We bring this to life by helping clients to protect and strengthen every aspect of their business; from people to performance, systems to strategy and business plans to business resilience.

Our Transformation Assurance team works with clients to improve outcomes for major projects or programs. With expertise in transformational change, we provide clients with experience-based, pragmatic advice to help them deliver on their commitments.

In doing so we provide stakeholders with confidence that the Programs that they govern, sponsor or that impact them in some way, are on track.

As a Manager / Senior Manager in our Transformation Assurance team your impact on corporate clients, governments and not-for-profits will be driven by your day-to-day activities:

Leading the delivery of transformation project and program reviews by:

Reviewing project/program artefacts (including risk reports, business cases, business requirements documents, or project plans); and leveraging your experience and knowledge of better practice methodologies to identify key risks to success of projects/programs

    Facilitate great client interactions to cut through the noise and get to the heart of critical issues impacting delivery and outcomes;

Communicating impactful insights and suggestions to a range of stakeholders to assist them in the delivery of strategic outcomes

Become a trusted advisor to project directors, executives and team members in relation to transformation activities

Understanding what makes our clients tick and what problems are top of mind for them; understanding how our skillset can help them solve those problems and putting forward propositions that demonstrate how we can do this most effectively.

Developing our people through coaching and mentoring junior colleagues, providing care and support where required and maintaining/enhancing the amazing culture we have developed at PwC.

    About you

Confident in interactions with Senior Executives, you have a background in a Consulting or Advisory role, with exposure to complex transformation programs or infrastructure projects.

Alternatively, you have deep experience in project/program management or related disciplines (including change management, business analyst, or benefits/finance management) and are skilled in proactively identifying project risks and finding appropriate solutions.

You have an advanced understanding of project management methodologies (preferably with an Agile, PMP, MSP, MoP, PRINCE2, PMBOK, or a similar certification), and feel comfortable leading project, program and portfolio reviews.

Passionate about being at the forefront of change, you're ready to be part of our Transformation Assurance team helping organisations de-risk leading transformation projects.

You're collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative environment.

You're a problem solver by nature and want to join a firm that values the kind of people who reimagine the possible for their clients and stakeholders.

Most importantly, you act with integrity and show care for the people you work with.
