    Work Location: Christmas Creek

    Roster: 8/6 7/7 – Ex Perth only

    Fortescue are seeking suitability qualified Autonomous Supervisor to join the mobile maintenance team at Christmas Creek on an 8/6 7/7 FIFO roster.

    Reporting to the AHS Superintendent, your role will be responsible for supervising the AHS maintenance team and ensuring the AHS technology is supported across HME.

    You will be accountable for the planning, prioritising projects, organising and supervision of personnel.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Display strong leadership with experience in a mobile maintenance field.
    • Possess strong Caterpillar experience for the range of heavy mobile fleet.
    • Provide dynamic leadership skills and strong prioritisation of workload across 270+ pieces of equipment.
    • Ability to develop the AHS team through the technology field.
    • Embed our continuous improvements to the department.
    • Lead and coach site technology technicians in high maintenance standards & ensuring safe practices are always performed.
    • Ensure the AHS fleet meets the budgeted availability target.
    • Ensure compliance to skills training matrix for self and direct reports.
    • Conduct field interactions and complete incident investigation in BMS
    • Identify, develop, and publish SWI's.
    • Adherence to the weekly maintenance plan
    • Demonstrate strong safety values.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Trade qualified in either– Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanical / Auto-Electrical
    • Previous experience in a similar role
    • Experience in maintenance and repair of Caterpillar mining haul trucks – SIS system
    • Strong supervisory experience and leadership skills
    • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
    • Proven commitment to safety
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and SAP
    • Strong understanding of maintenance strategies
