    MILO, Australia's iconic crunchy milk drink, was first introduced in 1934 by chemical engineer, Thomas Mayne from Smithtown, NSW. Here is your chance to join an iconic brand. We are looking for a Logistics Manager to join the Smithtown team.

    The Smithtown team are looking for a Logistics Manager to join the Milo team. You will oversee and co-ordinate the activities of the logistics department which encompasses purchasing, planning, warehousing, distribution. You will ensure that all Nestle policies and procedures are implemented. This role is based in Smithtown.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage alliance agreements and negotiate contracts and prices.
    • Review plans and capacities and issue reports on resource activities.
    • Chain of Responsibility (COR) Compliance.
    • Ensure a 4-week plan based on forecast
    • Budget management for Logistics and Warehouse operations
    • Manage staffing requirements to ensure optimised Warehouse and Logistics (planning, purchasing) operations.
    • Inventory Management (Stock on Hand/Days' supply for ROH/ZPACK and FERT)
    • System Management (GLOBE Health Checks)
    • Ensure TGA GMP requirements are upheld including the designation and monitoring of storage conditions for materials and products
    • Approval and monitoring of suppliers of materials, contract manufacturers and

    Skills and Experiences

    • You will have relevant and successful operational experience in a supervisory role at market/plant level in at least one of the following areas: Manufacturing, Industrial Performance, Demand and Supply Planning, Warehousing, Inbound material management, Production planning
    • Lean or 6 Sigma or 5S processes is beneficial
    • Demonstrated experience in Business planning, budget control, cost management, transports, and Procurement operations.
    • Experience in the management of projects such as High-Performance Logistics.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • A people leader
