    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Offer technical guidance and mentorship to ensure the dependability of one of Australia's leading streaming organizations by consistently monitoring and upkeeping Digital Product platforms and services, aligned with the ABC Digital Strategy.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Offer exceptional operational support to users of ABC digital product systems, covering content distribution and publishing systems, mobile and streaming media services.
    • Provide technical leadership in setting up infrastructure and services for ABC content delivery on digital platforms including web, mobile, and streaming media.
    • Enhance system reliability and quality through monitoring, reporting, and resolving faults on supported platforms.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for efficiency improvement through the automation of existing processes.
    • Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of digital systems and services, including a grasp of business usage.
    • Lead the establishment and maintenance of technical standards and support documentation.
    ABOUT YOU

    Advanced problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate, diagnose, and resolve highly complex web content and streaming media delivery issues.

    Demonstrated experience in supporting online content and application delivery, including content management systems, search engines, message boards, and other web services.

    Extensive experience in supporting cloud-based services, particularly on Amazon Web Services (AWS) platforms.

    Prior experience in supporting Linux-based environments is highly preferable.

    Significant experience with common cloud operations tools such as Datadog, Puppet, New Relic, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Maven, or Jenkins is highly advantageous.

    Experience in supporting and managing products delivered by CDN services like Akamai for streaming and web assets delivery.

    Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels in an Agile team setup.
