    As the trusted Compliance Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager in compliance matters relating to the business's Compliance Management Framework development that addresses all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, focusing on energy-specific laws and regulations and Australian privacy requirements.

    Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

    • Australia retailer energy experience or work with energy regulators.
    • Experienced with gas safety in Victoria, preferred not essential
    • Experienced with ACCC, AER and ESC regulations.
    • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced skills in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, to create documents, manage data, prepare presentations, and organise correspondence.
    • Document Preparation and Management: Prepare, review, and manage various documents and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
    • Reading and Analysis: Read and analyse incoming memos, submissions, and reports, which often contain critical business information, to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
    • Effective Writing: Draft and edit correspondence, reports, and other written materials clearly and precisely.
    • Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments, ensuring efficient time management and communication between relevant parties.
    • Project Support: Assist in project management tasks, including planning, execution, and monitoring, to ensure timely project completion.
    • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information as needed.

    About You:

    • Excellent presentation, communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills.
    • Strong focus on delivery and ability to drive positive outcomes.
    • An ability to use influencing skills to bring about change.
    • A demonstrated willingness and ability to take ownership and accountability of decisions and advice.
    • Flexibility and the ability to handle a variety of tasks, adjust quickly to priorities and meet changing business needs.
    • Formal qualifications in Risk and/or Compliance Managemen.t
    • Proven experience as a Compliance and/or Risk Advisor/Officer and substantial compliance and risk management knowledge.
