    The Pacific Zone (AU & NZ) Sales Organization, part of our Global "Services" Business, caters to diverse customer types and industries such as manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, data centres, healthcare, retail, utilities, and mining. Our Sales teams deliver customised solutions that optimise efficiency, promote sustainability, and drive digital transformation for our installed base customers; in both a territory, and segment type, attachment-sales model.


    Your Opportunity

    We seek an established Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our growing NSWteam.

    Whist this position has a home-base of Sydney. You will be 100% empowered to work flexibility in a hybrid work environment that will include a mix of working remote/home, in the Macquarie Parkoffice or workshop, at Customer Sites or travelling.

    Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will have responsibility for maximising orders, profitability and customer satisfaction focusing on your key territory, and segment accounts;who you will interact with via customer / site visits, face to face and virtually.

    What Will You Do?

    • Develop and execute an annual sales plan and provide ongoing account management
    • Educate customers on offers, products, and services (e.g., including recurring and digital offers)
    • Consultative Selling of our full Services portfolio; across our supported verticals
    • Provide key information to the Tender Team in preparation of sales quotations and bid proposals
    • Act as key account conduit by overseeing ongoing activities with the customer (e.g., orders, delivery) and seeking intervention/support from internal teams, when needed
    • Utilise our CRM for sales funnel management, account planning, performance, and opportunity detection
    • Share Offer feedback and customer intel to our Marketing teams
    • Provide sales/pipeline forecasts, and account planning, in line with Key Reporting milestones
    • Collaborate, engage and "Achieve Together" across our Internal Sales Support, Specialist Technical and Vertical BU stakeholders.


    About You

    • Proven Technical Sales experience, ideally as a Business Development Manager
    • "Hunter" Sales (growth) & Account Management skills
    • Consultative Selling experience, and/or, confidence selling to a diverse range of customers (e.g., from Technical Leads to C-Level customers)
    • Growth mindset, curiosity; with a hunger to learn
    • Ability to leverage technology for communications, planning & platforming via Digital tools – e.g., Microsoft Office suite and CRM related tools
    • Knowledge of Schneider Electric Offers; or an Electrical Trade; or an Electrical Engineering degree a plus, but not essential
