    Our Opportunity

    Work Location: Perth

    Roster: Mon to Fri

    The Analytics and Reporting team comprises 6 software developers and data analysts who develop and maintain the tools and systems for efficient collection, reporting and analysis of project information across Fortescue Energy's global portfolio. These include an internally developed cloud-hosted web application, database and suite of PowerBi reports.

    We are looking for someone who can train and support users and efficiently handle the majority of administrative work, queries and issues we deal with on a daily basis. Where more complicated issues arise, the Support Analyst will route them to the appropriate developer and track the issue through to completion and communication to the person who raised it. Basic skills in data management and analysis are preferred, and the successful candidate will get the opportunity to develop in those areas if interested and capable.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop proficiency in tools and reports developed by our in-house team
    • Assist in onboarding new internal and external users
    • Provide ongoing support to users
    • Solve basic technical problems and route more complicated problems to correct team (training provided)
    • Track those issues to completion and work with developer team to provide permanent fix
    • Manage internal and external system user roles and security access
    • Preparing Procedures, Quick Reference Guides and online training resources
    • Build & maintain a healthy working relationship with key stakeholders, sub teams and external interested parties
    • Other administrative tasks as required

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Recognised computer and IT qualifications
    • Highly organised with proven ability to handle multiple ongoing workfronts
    • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Basic proficiency in SQL and/or Powerbi development preferred
    • Ability to effectively work in a team environment with a range of stakeholders
    • High attention to detail
