    As the General Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic initiatives to promote economic growth, enhance visitor experiences, and strengthen relationships with local stakeholders.     What do you do?

    • Lead the development and implementation of the company's strategic plan in order to increase return on investment
    • Develop the yearly budget and quarterly cash flow projections
    • Oversee all marketing & business operations are in line with KPIs
    • Build strong and effective relationships with the Board, staff, members, relevant government departments and statutory authorities, sponsors, media and local community representatives.
    • Actively market the precinct and the businesses within the area to ensure long-term viability and resilience
    • Manage of staff, contractors and consultants to ensure operational targets for all functions are met
    • Participate in interviews with all forms of media
    • Monitoring of all compliance requirements and implementation of systems
    • Undertake work as advised by the Chairperson

    What do you need?

    • Experience as a General Manager - in the hospitality or events space is desirable
    • Demonstrated experience running full P&L
    • Strong commercial acumen
    • Budgeting and forecasting experience
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills
    • Impeccable prioritisation and organisational skills
    • Understanding of government compliance requirements
