    Where the team fits in This Delivery Manager role leads the Channels and Search tribe within the Experience Engine portfolio in Consumer.

    The Consumer Channels & Search tribe own many of the critical platforms that power the consumer-facing website and apps.

    Each platform is treated as a product, with a dedicated squad who fully own their product from strategy through to execution, covering product development, operations, custodianship, and support.

    What The Role Is All About In this role you will be responsible for the tribe engagement and delivery across your portfolio of products.

    You will take the lead at the inception phase to ensure that initiatives are scoped, planned and resourced appropriately.
    You will manage your team's budget and have full accountability for cost and workforce optimisation


    Your responsibilities will include:

    Portfolio/program management using agile methods and cross-disciplinary teams Project scoping and planning across multiple squads both within your tribe and beyond Monitor, control and report on progress of all tasks including prioritisation to ensure on-time delivery of key milestones and overall Initiatives Effective risk and issue management Stakeholder management and communication across all layers of the organisation Building happy and productive teams Budget and resource management across multiple teams Designing and managing effective delivery processes Contributing to the leadership team of your area Financial reporting including responsibility for capex and opex expenses Manage, Negotiate and execute on any third party related IT Services and or Products relating to the Tribe Driving a culture of operational excellence to ensure our systems are healthy and maintained and any incidents are effectively managed Line management and mentoring of 20+ team members Contributing to the REA project delivery knowledge base through blog posts, brown-bag sessions and coaching less experienced members of the team Leading the Delivery Lead community of practice for REA Group Who We're Looking For Demonstrated experience in Program Management, Delivery Management or a comparable role At least 8 years of industry experience in Project Management in a software development environment Extensive experience in Agile Software Delivery Experience in P&L Management Commercial experience in Vendor Management desirable but not mandatory Experience in managing Stakeholders across large programs of work Strong Workshop & facilitation skills to help drive successful outcomes Ability to look at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens The REA Experience The physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we'll never stop caring about.
