About the Company:

Our client is a major packaging, paper, and recycling company, renowned for its commitment to sustainability and innovation.

About the role:

This is a temporary, three-month role, that is pivotal in managing, planning, and coordinating our client's Safe Transport Management System (STMS) processes to ensure standards are current and effectively in place. As a Quality and Reporting Coordinator, you will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining LEAN concepts to optimize and achieve Quality KPIs, safety, and compliance objectives across the organization. Three weeks of training and handover will be provided for the successful candidate.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain and oversee the currency of STMS documents, ensuring all processes comply with the standards through regular audits.
• Analyse and report on Quality data, identify compliance gaps, and implement measures for improvement.
• Lead and manage Quality improvements and LEAN initiatives across different business units and operational areas.
• Develop and uphold the organisation's Quality Assurance Standards.
• Engage in cross-functional liaising with various departmental heads to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
• Regularly perform system audits and promote continuous improvement in Safety, Compliance, and Training.

Skills/Qualifications Required:

• Knowledge and understanding of road transport business operations and legal/regulatory aspects is desirable.
• High analytical proficiency is required.
• Experience in Quality Management Systems; knowledge of ISO 9001 is desirable.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Desirable: Experience in logistics within the transport industry and practical experience with Chain of Responsibility Regulations.
