    Your opportunity

    As our Project Coordinator, you will be working in a close-knit team based environment and be accountable for delivery, contract and project administration / management of a diverse range of projects which may be in the fields of civil, buildings, parks, water / wastewater and marine infrastructure.

    • Have experience in contract management and administer significant projects / programs for Redland City Council using Council's Project Management Framework.
    • Undertake the project and contract management of capital works projects to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with specifications and standards.
    • Communicate with and manage project stakeholders, including the management, assessment and review the standards of work and deliverables of subordinate staff, project consultants and contractors..

    • Can lead and administer projects from procurement to asset capture including review and appraisal.
    • Will assume the role of superintendent for numerous projects and be responsible for the timely completion of an assigned portfolio of projects.
    • Can provide support and expert technical advice to the Service Manager and two direct reports.

    • You will have an a ppropriate tertiary qualification in Engineering, building, construction management or other position relevant discipline OR you will have relevant experience (minimum 5 years) associated with the construction industry.

    You will have five (5) years' experience in contract / project management of civil/municipal infrastructure projects.

    You will have a 'C' class driver's licence.

    You will have a current White Card Construction Industry Induction.
