    Description

    The Project Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing project plans, managing budgets, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. Additionally, they will contribute to improving overall project delivery within the program.

    • Developing comprehensive project plans and timelines aligned with organisational objectives.
    • Defining project scope, requirements, and resource needs.
    • Managing sensitive issues with strategic importance.
    • Prioritising safety, security, and environmental protection.
    • Developing stakeholder engagement plans and fostering effective relationships.
    • Maintaining effective communication within the organisation and with external stakeholders.

    Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with a sound understanding of Commonwealth Government processes.

    A tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience in managing complex projects is required.

    Eligibility Requirements:

    To be eligible for employment, applicants must:

    • Be an Australian citizen or in the process of obtaining Australian Citizenship.
    • Undergo pre-employment security assessments and obtain clearance.
    • Be medically fit for job duties.
    • Be willing to undertake intrastate and interstate travel, including small aircraft travel.
