    The Opportunity

    We're seeking a Principal Environmental Planner to join our Advisory team in NSW, capitalizing on growing demand for planning services in the Energy and Water sectors. This strategic role will support our vision and growth, while expanding our planning capability in NSW to serve key clients, including power transmission, renewable generation, and water utilities.

    This project delivery and market-facing role requires expertise in environmental planning, allowing you to build relationships with existing clients and develop new ones. You'll also contribute to growing our capability in this area, supported by high-performing environmental planners in our wider business.

    About You

    To succeed in this role, you'll be an experienced environmental planner with a strong background in Energy, Water, or a related industry, combined with proven consulting experience. You should be someone who welcomes challenges, promotes innovation, and leads with a continuous improvement mindset, connecting the Beca network to bring value to our NSW clients and region.

    As a technical leader and relationship builder, you'll lead projects and project teams, initiate, manage, and develop strategic and operational relationships internally and externally to drive change and benefit our communities, people, and clients.

    Please note that relevant tertiary qualifications and registration as a Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (REAP) are required for this position.
