    About The Role:

    Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Trades Assistant will be working with the engineering team performing repairs & maintenance ensuring that all equipment and machinery are operating reliably & efficiently.

    The role involves but is not limited to, mechanical works, operating plant equipment such as Forklifts (if qualified), cleaning & readying of machinery for production.

    As a member of the Alsco Engineering team, you will be responsible for driving a safety-first culture.

    Essential Criteria:

    • Ideally 1-2 years' experiences with hand tools
    • Enthusiastic and eager to learn
    • A team approach & a positive outlook
    • A keen eye for detail
    • Good organisational and communication skills
    • A passion for safety
    • Forklift licence preferred
    • Ability to work unsupervised
