About this team
The Asset Protection Manager will be critical to the success of the most complex and important business unit at lululemon, our retail network and be a key advisor to ensure the security of our SSC.
The Manager will be instrumental in protecting our people and property in assigned areas, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests both in store and at events.
Acting as a trusted leader, the Manager will lead the business in identifying and managing risk and crises and work closely with multiple internal stakeholders across the region and lean on an existing external network that will allow them to ensure the brand is operating to the highest industry and market-based standards.
The Manager will work with cross functional support partners such as the investigations and people safety team as well as with global Co E's for support where needed.
A day in the life:
Proactively lead the business in identifying areas of risk and exposure and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies to resolve incidents relating to loss, safety, emergency management, events and physical security impacting retail locations and the wider AUNZ business
As the subject matter expert, act as a trusted leader to the AUNZ Area Director and members of the AUNZ leadership team as well as establish relationships with other key stakeholders across the business
Design and deliver bespoke, localised and best-in-class training that is rooted in our culture and core values
As the in market specialist, work with global Co E's to identify new trends or risks in the investigations, theft & omni fraud space and implement best practice programs to respond to minimise risk exposure
Lead sensitive & high risk internal and external investigations as well as integrity line complaints and work with law enforcement as required
Support the Store Support Centre (SSC) with security and safety related needs
Lead the business through unplanned and unexpected incidents and crises
Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance needs are met and liaise with local law-enforcement and security providers as needed
Qualifications:8+ years in corporate security, internal audit or related function
Retail asset protection and/or retail operations experience
Wicklander-Zulawski non-confrontational interview training and/or related experience an advantage
Outstanding communication skills, including proven ability to influence in all areas of an organization
Ability to travel to markets within job profile responsibility
