CEA has existing facilities distributed across Australia, with growth occurring both domestically and overseas.The RoleAs the Quality Assurance QA Assessor, you will be responsible for assuring consistent production quality of the Melbourne Production area and inspection of outsourced in-house mechanical items.Our Ideal CandidateOur ideal candidate will have a minimum Certificate III in Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years post trade experience.They will have experience in mechanical assembly, producing prototypes, 3D modelling preferable in Solid works. They will have experience in statistical process control and a current drivers licence and overhead crane chaser license.Our ideal candidate will be competent in the use of Microsoft applications including Excel Word at an intermediate level.Required AGSVA clearance level Baseline. Minimum Certificate III in Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years post trade experience. Experience in Mechanical assembly, producing prototypes. Meticulous attention to detail, ability to maintain focus and sound had eye coordination skills. Competent in use of Manual Machining, working with Aluminium, Fitting and Fabrication and Measuring tools at an Advanced level. Experience with Statistical Process Control at a Basic level. Excellent organisational and communication skills, with ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Current Drivers Licence and Overhead Crane Chaser Licence required. Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing organisational priorities and ambiguous environments.Desirable 3D modelling preferable in Solid works.
