The Human Resources Division delivers a range of operational, advisory and strategic services which enable the ANU to attract, develop and retain outstanding staff. The Human Resources Division HRD is in the process of creating a HR Operations Team who will oversee the ongoing day-to-day HR operational support across the Services Portfolio and Colleges. The team will be the first point of contact for all generalist HR queries, will be responsible for the provision of payroll processing, undertake end-to-end recruitment and selection, and provide appropriate HR related advice and recommendations to a large and varied client cohort. We are seeking to fill a range of fixed term and continuing positions from this recruitment process and are looking to create a merit list for future HR vacancies across the University. Link to the ANU Professional Staff Salaries page can be found here - https human-resources enterprise-agreement schedule-3-professional-staff-salaries-0 Team Leader, HR Operations Classification ANU Officer Grade 8 Terms Full time, fixed term until 31 December 2021 The Team Leader, HR Operations will work alongside the Associate Director, HR Operations to establish the systems and processes to support the way the team will deliver service across the client cohort. They will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team and will act as a liaison between the team and the local area HR personnel to ensure a smooth transition of operational working practices. The ideal candidate will be adept at influencing and stakeholder management, with high-level communication capabilities. They will be a progressive thinker who can provide leadership in the establishment of internal procedures and standards, will have strong HR generalist experience in a University context and will be able to lead and develop a team. Human Resources Consultant Classification ANU Officer Grade 6 7 Terms Full time, continuing The Human Resources Consultant will work alongside the Team Leader, HR Operations and their peers to support the development and implementation of the systems and processes that support this newly established team. They will also support the Team Leader by providing hands on operational advice to the team and clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in operational HR in a University or equivalent setting, will be highly organised, customer focused and able to problem solve effectively. They will be an effective communicator and have experience training and supervising a team. Human Resources Officer Classification ANU Officer Grade 5 Terms Full time, fixed term for 12 months The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for the delivery of end-to-end recruitment, accurate processing of payroll related information and the provision of sound HR related advice and recommendations to clients. They will work across the team to assist in the management of high volumes of queries and workloads and will be able to work with their peers in the team, across the Division and the local area HR personnel to ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can remain organised and calm with high volumes of work. They will be able to actively investigate queries and will be able to research appropriate solutions that fit within the ANU Enterprise Agreement and established Policies and Procedures. Human Resources Assistant Classification ANU Officer Grade 4 Terms Full time, continuing The Human Resources Assistant is the first point of contact for a range of generalist HR related queries from staff across the ANU. They are responsible for the provision of high-level customer service for all personnel and will work collaboratively to support a range of HR related deliverables including recruitment, payroll processing and the provision of regular and ad-hoc HR reports. The ideal candidate will have developed excellence in customer service, be administratively savvy and able to assist and support the team on a wide range of generalist HR and administrative tasks. Exposure to recruitment and selection in a University sector will be highly regarded. We strongly encourage and support applications from Indigenous Australians for this role.
